About this Website...
Up until 2016, I have never traveled anywhere outside of Canada. I've been to Vancouver, Surrey, Toronto, Niagara Falls, and Quebec City, yet I hadn't even traveled to the US! I always wanted to visit another country, but my family never had the chance then. I was kind of jealous of my friends because some of them traveled all the time. So, when I heard the news that our class would participate to win a trip to China. Everything would be payed for except the flight, so I knew this was a one-time chance. I wrote my letter explaining why I wanted to go and how I didn't know much Chinese culture. In the end, I was very happy to hear they chose us to come to the Beijing International Summer Camp. I was nervous at the same time because I would be going without my family. Even though there were some shortfalls, it's definitely an experience I don't want to regret. Eating the delicious food, seeing the historical sites, going to the shopping centres, learning, and playing games with people from other countries was super awesome. I chose to create this website to recollect my memories of this trip.
